Reginald is one of the 320 prisoners a player can unlock in the game BattleBlock Theater.
He’s one of the few prisoners to get more than one official art piece, and “voice acting” by the Narrator.
Personality[]
“Still feels really good about being called a genius.” - Steam Inventory description for Reginald.
Reginald is a very formal fellow with a posh and “gentlemanly” way of speaking to others. He appears to be British, or is a Englishman in nature at the very least. According to his prisoner profile, he is guilty of mustache waxing and was originally a Butler consultant.
His official prisoner preview by The Behemoth shows him helping a prisoner get across the levels by throwing them, only for it to result in their death right after, such as them being eaten by a Raccalope. It’s unknown if he intentionally sent them to their doom or if he was trying to be charitable.
Appearance[]
Reginald is a square-headed man who has a mustache, which is either brown or grey depending on his official art, and he has one monocle alongside what appears to be a bowler hat on his head.
He wears a red bowtie in the game’s prologue.
Trivia[]
- Reginald is one of the only characters in the game to get a speaking line, saying "I say, gentlemen, I do believe we're in quite a spot of bother!" during the storm in the prologue.
- Reginald is the only Prisoner who is actually referred to by name anywhere in the story. All other prisoners are unnamed in the story and have seemingly non-canon names in the Steam Inventory.
- Reginald holds a strong resemblance to Hatty Hattington. Whether or not they are connected is unknown. Although the only similarities are they both have square heads, and wear hats.
